Job Overview
GreenPath Financial Wellness is hiring Financial Wellness Experts to provide compassionate financial counseling and education to individuals and families across the United States. This fully remote position focuses on helping clients navigate financial challenges such as debt, credit concerns, mortgage delinquency, foreclosure prevention, and other personal finance matters.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping others, interested in personal finance, and committed to continuous learning. No financial counseling certifications are required to apply, but employees must successfully obtain HUD and National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) certifications during training and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone-based financial counseling services to clients nationwide
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and service-related outbound communications
- Review and analyze client financial information and credit reports
- Develop personalized action plans and educational resources
- Assist clients with debt management, budgeting, and financial wellness goals
- Provide housing-related counseling, including foreclosure prevention and rental counseling
- Maintain accurate records while protecting confidential client information
- Complete required training programs and maintain applicable certifications
- Collaborate with team members to support service quality and client success
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Interest in personal finance and financial education
- Willingness to obtain HUD and NFCC certifications
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with 80% accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Spanish-English bilingual skills preferred but not required
