Job Overview
The Hillman Group is hiring a Customer Service Representative I to support customers and field service teams through a high-volume call center environment. In this role, you’ll assist with order placement, tracking, account support, product questions, and order management while providing exceptional customer service.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, communicating with customers, and managing multiple tasks throughout the day. While the role is fully remote, candidates must reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area and be available to visit the office occasionally when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer and field service support calls
- Assist with order placement, tracking, quotes, and order updates
- Process order requests received by phone, email, fax, and website
- Support account managers and sales teams with order management
- Review and resolve order errors, holds, and processing issues
- Provide product information, usage guidance, and merchandising support
- Coordinate order expediting and issue resolution when necessary
- Maintain accurate records while following established procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling a high volume of customer interactions
- Hardware, retail, or distribution industry knowledge preferred
